About Dr. Jill
Dr. Jorgensen is President of Spinal Health Consultants. Her company’s mission is to provide a foundation for healthier, safer employees. Her “Save Your Spine” program is an effective, proactive and functional training program that motivates employees to replace unhealthy biomechanics with smart, safer work techniques. Techniques that are applicable not only in the work environment, but at home as well.
Dr. Jorgensen graduated from Mt. Mary College, Milwaukee, WI, 1992, with a degree in clinical dietetics. Following her work as a personal dietitian for the owners of the Golden State Warriors NBA Basketball team, she studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Upon completion of her studies in 1997, Dr. Jorgensen entered into private practice in Washington State emphasizing on spinal extremity/sports injury conditions and neurological disorders. Upon realizing that many of the injuries that she was seeing were preventable, Dr. Jorgensen started teaching injury prevention programs. For twelve years, Dr. Jorgensen has successfully taught her programs around the world for many top-performing companies for a variety of industries.
Dr. Jorgensen’s programs have been field tested with positive results. Dr. Jorgensen has worked with Puget Sound Energy, Alaska Airlines, Costco, SKANSKA, Wells Fargo and the U.S. Navy, just to name a few. Dr. Jorgensen’s professional background in clinical nutrition and chiropractic as well as her own personal experience has provided Dr. Jill with unique insights into the challenges and physical demands placed on the body. Dr. Jorgensen’s “Save Your Spine” program is a functional training that provides practical information on how to help use your body in any environment.
